Hey there! I’m Lily — lover of iced lattes, thrift store treasures, and anything with puff sleeves.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, Fashion By Lily. This blog started one rainy afternoon when I was sitting on the floor of my closet, surrounded by a pile of “nothing to wear,”

and I thought: There has to be a better way. I didn’t have a huge wardrobe or a designer budget, just a deep love for clothes and a desire to feel cute and confident every day.
And so, I opened my laptop, brewed another coffee, and started writing.

I grew up in a small town where dressing up meant wearing jeans without holes in them (lol), but I’ve always believed that fashion is about expressing who you are, no matter where you are.

I was that kid who wore vintage skirts to school and turned my mom’s scarves into tops long before it was trending on TikTok.

Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with mixing high and low, styling the same pieces different ways and helping friends (and now readers!) feel excited to get dressed in the morning.

These days, I live just outside the city with my rescue pup, Maple, who may make a guest appearances in the future. I still don’t own a walk-in closet, but I’ve learned how to make the most of what I’ve got… and that’s what I love sharing here.

Outside of fashion, you’ll find me reading thrillers, rewatching The Devil Wears Prada, or accidentally spending two hours browsing the home section at Target.

I’m probably wearing wide-leg jeans and a cute top right now. (Or pajamas. Let’s be honest.)
